Job summary

RSM Stone Forest is seeking an AutoCAD drafter to convert system engineer sketches into detailed technical drawings for marine, oil & gas, telecom, and security equipment. The role requires proficiency in 2D diagrams and experience producing fabrication and engineering documents.

Applicants should coordinate with project, fabrication, and production teams, ensuring accurate drawings and timely submissions for tenders and project implementation.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD with the ability to create, modify, and interpret detailed engineering drawings and layouts.
• Experience in the Marine, Oil & Gas industry, with knowledge of relevant engineering practices, standards, and specifications.
• Able to prepare and review technical drawings, fabrication drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Familiar with engineering design, material selection, and coordination with project, fabrication, and production teams.
• Able to understand technical specifications, project requirements, and client standards.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the system engineer(s) to gather the specifications and supplier documentations to proceed with the required drawings. Experience with electrical drawings preferred.
• Convert sketch from system engineer(s) into technical drawings.
• Perform AutoCAD drawing for Equipment Dimension, Block Diagram, Wiring Diagram for telecommunication and security equipment.
• Familiar with 2D diagrams and line drawings.
• Manage projects submission to ensure timely submission for project tender and projects implementation.
