Job summary

A leading company is seeking an AV System Engineer to design and recommend AV systems in Singapore. This permanent role includes responsibilities such as generating proposals, creating designs, and managing project evaluations. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years in the AV industry and relevant technical knowledge. Strong communication skills and experience in site works will enhance your application.

Qualifications

Benefits Summary:

• AV System Engineer (Audio Visual)

• Permanent role

• Basic salary up to $ 5,000 + Bonus

• Monday to Saturday: 9.00AM to 6.00PM

• Location: Tai Seng

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise and assist in the design, recommendation andevaluation of AV system setup.

• Create A/V designs (to include A/V control, video, audio, and networkingschematics) as part of engineering design Packages.

• Generate Build of Materials (BOM)

• Generate A/V proposals

• Organize and prepare demonstration of proposed solutions to customers.

• Participate in project meetings with customers and representatives.

• Coordinate the design review and change process with Project Managers, Salesteam and customers.

• Keep abreast of the latest technologies in the AV industry.

• Generate functional connection-level drawings for audio, video, control andcommunications systems.

• Perform Site Survey/Evaluation when required.

• Attend site coordination meeting when required

• Support turnover of the completed installations to the Clients to include Useracceptance and training.
  

Additional Information:

• At least 2 years of experience working in an AV industry as a System Designer or relevant roles such as Project Engineer or Commissioning Engineer

• Have prior knowledge with site works and understands the purpose of different drawings such as such as design schematics, RCP and shop drawings will be an added advantage

• Knowledge and design experience with the following manufacturers: Crestron, Extron, AMX, Polycom, Biamp, Clearone, QSC, Cisco.

• Knowledge of AutoCAD program will be an added advantage (Training will be provided)

• Relevant recognized industry certifications will be an added advantage (e.g. CTS)
