A leading engineering company in Singapore is seeking a qualified civil engineer to assist in design management and project execution. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, proficiency in engineering design software, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include preparing project designs, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications at the project site.

Job description

Job Description:

• Prepare designs, sketches and reports with supporting calculations for projects, and supply drafting staff with information to assist in the production of detailed drawings, the development of quantities, materials lists and cost estimates as required.
• Coordinate with suppliers, clients, consultants or commissioning engineers concerning the design, installation or construction and commissioning of assigned work.
• Prepare technical submissions for materials, construction methods and C&S shop drawings.
• Resolve any construction issues on drawings and liaise closely with relevant departments as well as the authorities, to ensure consistency with contractual technical specifications and statutory rules and regulations.
• Report on work progress during meetings.
• Attend site inspection with required.
• Any other tasks that assigned by reporting officer.

Job Requirement

• Candidate must possess Bachelor Degree in relevant discipline.
• Good knowledge of the various engineering design softwares and analytical tools, for instance Etab, MS Tower, Autocad, will be added bonus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an excellent eye for detail.
• Able to work independently and highly motivated with excellent team spirit.
• Meeting delivery deadlines and budgets.
• To be stationed at the project site, Tampines.
• 6 working days per week.
