Job description

Develop Structural & Architecture Design Drawings

1. Assist Technical Manager in preparing Structural & Architecture Design Drawings.
2. Prepare erection and shop drawings with accurate cutting lists for fabrication purposes.
3. Coordinate between clients, fabrication, and site works on technical design specifications.
4. Liaise with QP on drawing submissions, approval, and amendments.
5. Prepare documents for submission to regulatory authorities.
6. Assist in coordinating QA/QC matters with the fabrication department.
7. Responsible for maintaining and training staff on Tekla BIM Software.

Prepare Risk Management Plan

1. Plan in advance for any emergency issues.
2. Check and ensure the accuracy of design drawings before fabrication to avoid rework.
3. Check and ensure the accuracy of design drawings before installation on site.

Participant in Tender Presentations and Projects Meetings

1. Work closely with the Safety Department for submission of method statements, including equipment lists.
2. Attend site surveys.
3. Participate in progress meetings, discuss, and suggest technical proposals.

Train the Technical Team & Innovation in Fabrication Design

1. Train a competent technical team in the use of Tekla BIM software.
2. Collaborate with the Fabrication Department to innovate fabrication design.
