Proficiency in design software and bilingual communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

Job description

Your role shall include but not limited to:

• Overseeing all aspects of the design process, from concept development to project completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
• Leading the conceptualization and development of interior design concepts that align with client objectives, brand goals and project goals.
• Supervising the creation of all design elements & documentation, including but not limited to presentations, materials, and 3D renderings to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Maintaining awareness of emerging design/industry trends, materials, and technologies for incorporation into projects.
• Coordinating with design teams, consultants, project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project seamless execution.
• Serving as the primary design contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and design integrity.
• Presenting design concepts and updates to senior stakeholders, addressing feedback promptly to the team.
• Capable to lead, manage and mentor the design team regarding their work and professional development including problems solving, ensuring efficient work processes.
• Flexibility in handling multiple projects.
• Travel internationally for assigned project presentations, coordination meetings and site visits as required.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Masters degree in Interior Design,or a related field.
• Minimum 12+ years of experience in interior design for large-scale, high-profile hospitality projects, with a focus on luxury hotels, resorts, or mixed-use developments.
• Proven experience of dealing with international hotel operators and consultants, experience in managing China luxury hospitality or f&b projects would be an advantage.
• Proven expertise in leading interior design teams and managing projects from concept to completion.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining quality and efficiency under pressure.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strong problem-solving skills to manage complex, multi-phase projects and tight schedule.
• Strong presentation skills, meticulous, creative thinking, highly motivated & possesses a positive working attitude.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Sketch up, Microsoft office etc.
• Preferably Bilingual, able to communicate and write in both Mandarin & English are an added advantage (in order to liaise with Chinese speaking associates)
