Design Delivery Specialist - Graphic Design

Job Location: MUMBAI GENERAL OFFICE

Job Description:

The Design Delivery Specialist (DDS) partners with Brand Design and multi-disciplinary internal/external teams on packaging artwork projects from design development to execution. They are responsible for realizing design intent, ensuring technical suitability and print feasibility, leading design implementation, and maintaining quality and visual consistency across all product variants at FMOT.

This role requires a solid understanding of design, brand identity, design standards/guidelines, and industry-specific pre-press & printing knowledge, including materials & substrates, and artwork file construction/requirements. Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, influencing, and project management skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a graphic/2D package design execution expert on multifunctional teams, utilizing knowledge of supply chain requirements, pre-press & printing, and print feasibility to ensure design realization.
  • Partner with pre-press & printers and global Design Delivery resources to assess print feasibility, identify solutions, plan print trials, and ensure visual consistency at shelf.
  • Manage design execution work and schedules, escalate issues timely, and facilitate informed decision-making for on-time, high-quality artwork delivery.
  • Manage projects within WebCenter, providing support and tracking all Design Delivery metrics.
  • Drive continual improvements in quality, productivity, and efficiency, exploring cost savings and cost avoidance opportunities.
  • Build capability within the team and organization, fostering mastery in E2E Artwork processes.

Success Measures:

  • Meeting design, color development, and graphic adaptation standards quarterly.
  • Consistent reproduction of design intent across all pack forms.
  • Timely delivery of design components.
  • Adherence to budgets and speed metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in graphic design or related field, with 2-3 years of experience in graphic/print production.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
  • Strong understanding of brand architecture, design language, and application across variants and print processes.
