Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to manage and coordinate drafting processes across all project phases. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Architecture/Interior Design and a minimum of 12 years of experience. You will provide mentorship to the design team and ensure compliance with all client specifications and regulations. This role offers opportunities for leadership and collaboration across various project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years working experience in related field.
• ID experience in construction/fit-out/building industry is an added advantage.
• Prior experience supervising/leading others.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the drafting process across all project phases.
• Ensure all design deliverables are completed in alignment with the project schedule.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to the design team.
• Lead and guide a team of drafters and design coordinators.
• Proactively identify and assess potential design variations.
• Review and validate drawing submissions to ensure they align with design intent.
• Develop, implement, and maintain drafting standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and site teams.
• Monitor drafting schedules and resource allocation.
• Conduct internal quality checks and ensure version control of drawings.
• Facilitate drawing coordination across disciplines.
• Coordinate with construction teams to clarify drawing details.
• Ensure compliance with client specifications and internal quality requirements.
• Liaise with external consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Keep updated on industry drafting software and best practices.
• Manage design change processes.
