Role Purpose

A Design and Render Specialist is responsible for creating visually compelling designs and high-quality renderings for various projects. Thes role often involves a mix of creativity, technical expertise, and collaboration with other designers and Key Stakeholders ensuring seamless transition from concept creation to final handover. This role is critical in maintaining alignment with Brand Standards, ensuring design intent is upheld while meeting brand and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• 3D Modelling & Rendering – Creating 3D models from photographic references, real-world objects, or concept art, then applying textures, lighting, and rendering techniques to achieve realistic or stylized visual effects.

• Visual Concept Development – Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand the visual requirements of a project and translating ideas into digital renderings.

• Graphic & Animation Support – Assisting in media production by generating 3D assets for animations, marketing/commercial materials, or architectural visualizations.

• Software Utilization – Using industry-standard tools like AutoCAD, Endscape, D5, Sketchup and rendering software to develop designs and improve layouts.

• Technical Adjustments – Modifying and enhancing images using image editing software, ensuring proper composition and visual appeal.

About You

• At least 3 years of experience in design environment (experience in retail is a plus)

• Design Expertise: Demonstrates a keen eye for detail, excellent knowledge of color and materiality, and adherence to design principles.

• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D visualization tools (Endscape, D5), Photoshop, and PowerPoint.

• Compliance Knowledge: Familiar with government submissions, building regulations, health codes, and compliance standards.

• Communication Skills: Outstanding presentation, written, and verbal communication abilities to articulate design intent and ideas effectively.

• Decision-Making: Able to make informed decisions based on design judgment, operational constraints, and Brand Standards.

• Collaboration: A proactive team player who fosters collaboration across departments with integrity and motivation.

• Resilience and Innovation: Self-driven, capable of working under pressure, and willing to challenge the status quo to achieve innovative outcomes.
