Job summary

KS Consulting Pte Ltd seeks an experienced Derivatives Operations Specialist to oversee the trade lifecycle, collateral management and new business initiatives within a leading global asset management firm.

You will collaborate with portfolio managers, custodians, brokers and outsourced providers to ensure efficient operations, robust controls and ongoing automation enhancements across ETD and OTC derivatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in derivatives operations and collateral management.
• Strong knowledge across Futures, Forwards, Swaps, Options, Warrants and OTC derivatives.
• Experience reviewing ISDA Schedules, CSA, GMRA and CTA agreements.
• Experience with automation and RPA is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the trade lifecycle of ETD, cleared and uncleared OTC derivatives.
• Manage collateral management activities including collateral substitutions.
• Review ISDA, CSA, GMRA and CTA agreements.
• Support new instruments, markets, initiatives and operating model changes.
• Coordinate UAT, onboarding of middle-office service providers.
• Drive automation, process improvements and risk mitigation.
• Liaise with Portfolio Managers, Dealers, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Custodians and Brokers.

About the Role

Our client, a leading global asset management firm, is seeking an experienced Derivatives Operations Specialist to support derivatives trade lifecycle oversight, collateral management and new business initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with portfolio managers, dealers, custodians, brokers and outsourced service providers to ensure efficient derivatives operations and robust operational controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the trade lifecycle of exchange-traded derivatives (ETD), cleared and uncleared OTC derivatives .
• Manage oversight of collateral management activities, including collateral substitutions.
• Review derivatives-related legal agreements, including ISDA, CSA, GMRA and CTA .
• Support new instruments, markets, business initiatives and operating model enhancements.
• Coordinate UAT, implementation and onboarding of middle-office service providers.
• Drive operational automation, process improvements and risk mitigation.
• Liaise with Portfolio Managers, Dealers, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Custodians and Brokers.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in derivatives operations and collateral management.
• Strong product knowledge across Futures, Forwards, Swaps, Options, Warrants and OTC Derivatives .
• Hands-on experience reviewing ISDA Schedules, CSA, GMRA and CTA agreements.
• Experience with BlackRock Aladdin and DTCC would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of RPA and operational automation would be beneficial.
• Degree in Business, Banking or Finance.
