Job description

Singapore Listed Derivatives commodities broker, specialising in the listed derivatives markets.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute listed derivatives (futures and options) and liquidity swaps during the Asian trading hours on behalf of a global client base, including funds, trading houses, banks, and institutional clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships across agricultural and soft commodity markets.
  • Market and broker trades in block sizes across a broad commodity spectrum, including grains, oilseeds, edible oils, biofuels, and softs.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive client acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Generate and share timely market analysis, trade ideas, and relevant commentary with clients and the internal team to support decision-making and commercial engagement.
  • Collaborate with the broader international team (e.g., London desk) on cross-regional growth initiatives and new product lines.
  • Stay updated on physical and derivatives market trends, regulatory changes, and pricing movements across global agricultural commodities.
  • Contribute to internal market updates and strategic discussions during regular team meetings.

Experience:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a derivatives brokerage.
  • Good understanding of global listed derivatives exchanges.
  • Ideally have a book of clients to add to our ‘block’ liquidity pool.
  • Desire to build a broader book in a small, established and growing futures desk.
  • Business development and sales focused with a team orientated mentality.
