Job summary

LTA Land Transport Authority in Singapore is seeking a Deputy / Assistant Safety & Health Manager to provide specialist advice on workplace safety across LTA Construction Projects and drive toward a Zero Accident target. You will conduct site safety audits, deliver corporate safety training, organize safety health events, participate in Project Safety Reviews, and publish safety articles.

Candidates with a science/engineering background and at least 2 years of construction safety experience are

Qualifications

• Knowledge preferably in Science or Engineering.
• At least 2 years of validated experience in construction safety, preferably in mega or large scale projects as a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Not WSHO? attend WSQ Specialist Diploma Workplace Safety & Health (Level C).
• Knowledge in data analytics and programming language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site safety audits/inspections/enforcements across construction sites.
• Deliver corporate safety health training sessions.
• Organise corporate safety health promotional events (e.g. Safety forums, corporate safety retreats).
• Participate in the Project Safety Review and contribute safety articles for in-house publications.
• Develop new corporate safety initiatives based on data analytics of past near-miss/incident/accident records.
• Research latest developments in Safety & Health and new construction technologies.
