Job summary

Land Transport Authority is seeking a Deputy / Assistant Safety & Health Manager to lead safety initiatives on major construction projects, drive the Zero Accident goal and oversee audits, training, and safety communications.

You will analyze incident data, implement new safety programs, and contribute to safety reviews and technical articles. Prior experience in construction safety is preferred, with WSQ or WSHO qualifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge in science or engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of validated experience in construction safety; WSHO registration preferred.
• Excellent presentation skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to attend WSQ Diploma if not registered as WSHO.
• Knowledge in data analytics and programming languages is a plus.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice on workplace safety and health for LTA construction projects.
• Conduct site safety audits, inspections and enforcement.
• Organise corporate safety health training and safety promotion events.
• Contribute to Project Safety Reviews and safety-related publications.
• Develop corporate safety initiatives using data analytics from past incidents.
