Job description

Key Responsibilities

Assist the General Manager in leading the strategic expansion, business execution, and operational management of the group’s trading division. Responsible for integrating domestic and international resources, strengthening cross-border coordination, and supporting the company in achieving business growth, maximizing profitability, and minimizing risk. Serve as a key contributor to the Group’s integrated development across regions.

1. Develop and implement annual and quarterly business targets and profit plans to ensure steady growth of trading operations;

2. Oversee the full lifecycle of energy product trading, including procurement, sales, and settlement;

3. Lead negotiations and contract execution for bulk energy trades, driving key strategic customer partnerships;

4. Organize market development and client relationship management to enhance customer satisfaction and retention;

5. Responsible for developing new clients and maintaining key accounts, expanding the Group’s presence in strategic regions and international markets;

6. Supervise and manage the business team, including core functions such as sales, contract administration, and logistics coordination;

7. Promote team capability development and implement incentive mechanisms for key positions;

8. Review trade contract terms, identify transactional risks, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance;

9. Support the liaison office in market analysis, supply chain coordination, financial structuring, and compliance preparation;

10. Provide regular reports to senior management on business performance, market trends, key metrics, and improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Energy, International Trade, Economics, or related disciplines preferred;
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in commodity or energy trading, with proven cross-border management exposure;
  • Strong negotiation skills, strategic vision, risk awareness, and team leadership capabilities;
  • Solid understanding of energy sector regulations, import/export processes, and contract management;
  • Proficient in both Chinese and English, with overseas work experience or adaptability to multicultural work environments highly valued.
