What the role is:
As a Deputy Manager in ITE, your challenge is to formulate, review and implement policies and processes in specific functional areas.
What you will be working on:
- Management of fixed asset policies and processes to ensure proper accounting, accurate reporting and efficient stocktaking.
- Timely GST reporting and accounting, in accordance with policies and guidelines given by IRAS and MOE.
- Finance & accounting functions including general ledger month end closing and year-end closing.
- Review internal finance policies and procedures for efficiency and effective internal controls.
- Management & assignment of Workday security roles, including regular review of critical security roles.
- Workday worktag review to meet reporting and project tracking requirements.
- Data analytics.
What we are looking for:
- Credentials in Accountancy, Business, Finance or related disciplines.
- At least 5 years of related working experience in finance or audit. Experience in public sector finance will be an added advantage.
- Meticulous, resourceful and adaptable.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience in Workday will be advantageous.
