Job description

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise commercial executives in managing major ship repair and upgrading projects.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender bids to secure repair and conversion work.
• Collaborate with the Ship Repair Manager and Project Supervisor to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, achieving targeted margins.
• Liaise with vessel owners’ representatives for project settlement and invoicing of completed works.
• Source, assess, and negotiate with subcontractors for specialized or complex jobs.
• Review, negotiate, and finalize subcontractor invoices to ensure fair settlement.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, with at least 6 years of relevant experience, including team management.
• Strong techno-commercial expertise in ship repair or marine construction.
• Proven experience in cost estimation and analysis for ship repair projects.
• Familiarity with subcontracting, procurement, bidding, and tender processes.
