Newbridge is seeking a Deputy Head of Technical (Growth Engineering & AI Platform) to architect and lead our next-generation AI-native growth platform. This 0-to-1 leadership role sits at the intersection of AI Agent Development, Growth Engineering, and Data Platform.

You will own the end-to-end technical strategy for global user acquisition, data intelligence, and AI transformation - directly supporting C-level decision making and enabling automated, intelligent growth operations.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Data Platform, Growth Engineering, or AdTech with 3+ years in a Tech Lead role.
• Proven experience architecting large-scale growth and data platforms (batch + streaming).
• Strong ML background and engineering proficiency with listed tools.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead AI-native growth platform development and strategy.
• Own the end-to-end global growth platform with multi-region support and analytics.
• Lead AdTech initiatives: attribution, API integration, RTB and growth optimization.
• Build ML models for segmentation, LTV/ROI, and creative evaluation.
• Build and govern the data platform with Lakehouse, ETL pipelines, and analytics infra.

Job description

We are looking for a Deputy Head of Technical (Growth Engineering & AI Platform) to architect and lead our clients next-generation AI-native growth platform. This is a 0-to-1 leadership role that sits at the intersection of AI Agent Development, Growth Engineering, and Data Platform.

You will own the end-to-end technical strategy for global user acquisition, data intelligence, and AI transformation - directly supporting C-level decision making and enabling automated, intelligent growth operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI & Agent Development

• Architect and develop scenario-based AI Agents for business use cases such as data enquiry, marketing performance analysis, management intelligence, and creative operations.
• Design reusable Agent framework including orchestration workflow, tool/function calling, MCP-based integration, prompt management, context engineering, and Agent evaluation pipelines.
• Build enterprise AI applications leveraging LLM & Multimodal capabilities (e.g., RAG-based analytics, executive insights, automated creative production).
• Own the end-to-end global growth platform (Golang + Big Data) supporting multi-region campaign management, attribution, user growth analytics, and scalable acquisition operations.
• Lead AdTech initiatives: Attribution, Marketing API integration, Advertising Delivery, RTB, and growth optimization.
• Build ML models for User Segmentation, LTV / ROI Prediction, and Creative Performance Evaluation to drive budget allocation and targeting strategy.

3. Data Platform & Data Governance (Batch + Streaming)

• Build and own the company-level data platform with Lakehouse architecture, real-time and batch ETL pipelines, unified data services, and analytics infrastructure.
• Establish best practices for data warehouse architecture, data modeling, metrics architecture, and data asset management.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and availability to support BI and AI applications.

4. Advertising & Recommendation Systems

• Develop and optimize advertising delivery and recommendation systems including RTB, growth optimization loops, and creative tagging/classification using multimodal LLM.

5. Technical Leadership

• Build the technical team from scratch - hiring, mentoring, and establishing SOPs, engineering standards, and delivery processes.
• Drive cross-functional coordination across Product, Marketing, UA, Data, and Operations (China + Overseas markets).
• Own cloud infrastructure and DevOps strategy on GCP.

6. Business-Oriented Partnership

• Directly partner with CEO, COO, and HODs to translate business goals into technical solutions with data-driven decision making.

Requirements

• 12+ years in Data Platform, Growth Engineering, or AdTech, with at least 3+ years in a Tech Lead / Head of Engineering role building teams from 0-to-1.
• Proven experience architecting large-scale growth platforms and data platforms (batch + streaming).
• Strong ML background: XGBoost, clustering, behavioral modeling, deep learning for LTV/ROI prediction, multimodal understanding.
• Strong engineering background: Golang, Java (Spring Boot), Python, Spark, Flink, Kafka, BigQuery / MaxCompute / Paimon.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform: Vertex AI, Gemini, Agent Development Kit (ADK), GKE, BigQuery.
