We are seeking a proactive and experienced Deputy Head of IT to support the Head of IT in overseeing technology strategy, operations, and service delivery. This leadership role is ideal for a candidate who can balance strategic planning with hands-on management in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing the IT strategy aligned with business goals.
• Oversee daily IT operations including infrastructure, applications, security, and support services.
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of IT professionals to ensure high performance and collaboration.
• Manage IT projects, ensuring effective delivery, risk mitigation, and alignment with stakeholder expectations.
• Coordinate with vendors and external partners to ensure contract compliance and service quality.
• Ensure adherence to IT governance, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
• Support IT audit processes and drive implementation of recommendations.
• Represent the Head of IT in meetings and decision-making forums as required.
• Identify opportunities to leverage new technologies for business improvement and innovation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8–10 years of IT experience, including 4–6 years in leadership roles.
• Proven expertise in managing IT infrastructure, applications, security, and support functions.
• Strong project management skills with experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Familiarity with IT governance frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
