Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year sailing experience as Master on Oil/Chemical Tankers.
• Minimum 5 years of shore-based experience.
• Experience with Coated and Stainless Tanks is an advantage.

Job description

• As a Deputy Fleet Manager , you will assume full responsibility for safe operation of a Fleet of Oil/Chemical Tankers vessels assigned to you.
• Ensure vessel compliance with company, SMS, international and local regulations.
• Besides day to day close monitoring of vessels, you will be required to supervise tank cleaning operation , ensure safety of navigation , and carry out vessel inspections.
• Required to conduct in-depth investigations when required, ensure certification and documentation of vessels under your charge are up to date and meet international safety standards.
• You will also supervise the preparation of vessels for various 3rd party inspections like – Sire / CDI / MESQAC Inspections / TMSA Review.
