Responsibilities

• Track and analyse geostrategic and economic developments affecting Singapore’s trade and investment interests.
• Develop, implement and review strategies, policies and initiatives to enhance bilateral and regional economic relations.
• Represent MTI during visits, meetings, negotiations and conferences, leading discussions with international counterparts where relevant.
• Build networks with foreign stakeholders including government agencies, private companies, business chambers, thinktanks and universities.
• Drive talent management and staff capability development to meet current and future requirements.
