Job description:

Position: Deputy Director, Human Resource

Department: Human Resource

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Deputy Director to provide leadership over our Talent Management, Compliance, Employee Relations, Wellbeing, HRIS and Analytics functions. This role is pivotal in ensuring our organization attracts, develops and retains top talent while maintaining a strong foundation of compliance and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record of driving HR initiatives that align with business objectives and foster a positive and productive work environment.


Key responsibilities:

  1. Drive the adoption of data-driven HR strategies; and leverage HR data analytics to identify trends, measure the effectiveness of HR programs, and drive data-informed continuous improvement;
  2. Champion the adoption and integration of cutting-edge HR technologies, including AI and automation tools, to enhance HR efficiency and effectiveness;
  3. Provide strategic leadership over development and implementation of comprehensive talent management and succession planning strategies, taking into consideration Group policies and initiatives;
  4. Direct and oversee staff wellbeing initiatives and staff awards;
  5. Ensure compliance with employment laws and Group policies, through audits and compliance reviews, identifying and mitigating potential risks proactively;
  6. Establish and maintain effective governance over employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions and conflict resolution, ensuring fairness and consistency;
  7. Lead, mentor and develop a team of HR professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment;
  8. Manage the HR budget strategically, ensuring efficient resource allocation;
  9. HR improvement work as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
  2. 10 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on Talent Management and compliance;
  3. Demonstrated experience in implementing and utilizing AI-powered HR solutions;
  4. Strong understanding of AI and automation principles and applications in HR;
  5. Proven experience in developing and implementing successful talent management programs;
  6. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills;
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
