Job summary

A leading governmental organization in Singapore is seeking a leader to drive engagement initiatives related to Total Defence and National Education. Job description

What The Role Is

You lead a team in the strengthening commitment to Singapore through the implementation of policy on Total Defence, National Education and Support for National Service (NS).

What You Will Be Working On

  • Drive the conceptualisation, development and implementation of engagement plans
  • Raise public awareness, deepen understanding and encourage more Singaporeans to play their part
  • Strengthen whole-of-government (WoG) and 3P (Public, Private, People sector) partnerships, including with citizen volunteers, to achieve these outcomes

  • Staying attuned to the evolving social landscape
  • Developing informed strategies and methods to engage Singaporeans


What We Are Looking For

  • Education in Mass Communications or Social Sciences
  • At least 15 years of working experience in conceptualising engagement plans and developing engagement campaigns or programmes
  • Adept at networking and partnership management
  • Network of contacts in other ministries, public relations industry and media is advantageous
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Good command of both spoken and written English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
