As Deputy Director (Marcoms), you will be part of the Corporate Communications team of the Communicable Diseases Agency (CDA).

Public trust is crucial in managing current and future public health threats, and this trust can be built through effective strategic, media, and marketing communications. This role leading the Marcoms department within the Corporate Communications division will contribute to building the mindshare of CDA as the voice of authority in communicable diseases, enhancing CDA's branding locally and internationally, and educating the public on communicable diseases and preventive measures to enable appropriate actions for self-protection and community safety.

You will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that requires managing multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.

What You Will Be Working On

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the Marcoms team in managing corporate branding and the development of corporate publications and collaterals.
  2. Drive the development and implementation of social media strategies and content, managing CDA’s social media channels and website.
  3. Lead the development and execution of national public education campaigns, including vendor management for marketing efforts.
  4. Coordinate the rollout of annual national public education campaigns across media, digital media, and out-of-home channels.
  5. Manage procurement of vendors for media buying, creative services, and market research for campaigns.
  6. Monitor the usage and effectiveness of campaigns and vendor contracts in achieving CDA’s communication objectives.
  7. Develop and implement annual social media strategies aligned with CDA’s overall communication plan.
  8. Create and edit content for CDA’s social media pages and website to ensure timely and relevant information dissemination.
  9. Track engagement metrics across social media and website platforms.
  10. Enhance corporate branding through publications like the annual report, brochures, videos, and corporate gifts.

What We Are Looking For

Job Requirements:

  1. At least 12 years of experience in the government sector, healthcare, or a medium to large organization, with relevant team leadership experience in social media, website content, and marketing communications.
  2. Resilient team leader and collaborative team player.
  3. Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills.
  4. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  6. Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Note: Your appointment designation will be commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will initially be offered a 2-year contract, with potential for permanent placement or contract renewal.
