What The Role Is
You lead content strategy development and implementation in support of Whole-of-Government (WOG) priorities for National Education (NE), Total Defence, and national policy positions. This includes building greater commitment to Singapore, as well as strengthening national identity, societal cohesion and resilience, commitment to defence, and support for national service amongst domestic audience groups. You also act as the functional lead in NE content development pertaining to defence and security related issues

Challenge(s)
- Ensuring content strategy is fit for purpose and future-proofed to keep pace with the evolving geopolitical, domestic, and technological landscape
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge and understanding of current affairs, geopolitical developments, and domestic issues, including how this impacts Singapore and domestic audiences
- Being astute in determining appropriate content formats, messages, and takeaways for audiences especially in areas such as Singapore’s foreign and defence policy
- Being creative and quick to adapt content development strategy to keep pace with information landscape trends
- Leading the team to innovate and experiment to stay ahead of the curve
What We Are Looking For
- Education in Humanities, Social Sciences, Education, Public Administration, Communications or a relevant field
- At least 15 years of relevant work experience in content and curriculum development, with at least 5 years of supervisory experience
- Familiarity with digital and social media landscape
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Keen interest in Singapore's story, defence and security matters and current affairs
