Monetary Authority of Singapore is seeking a policy analytics professional to strengthen Singapore’s defences against money laundering, terrorism financing and proliferation financing. The role focuses on researching international best practices, reviewing methodologies, coordinating with stakeholders, and contributing to national AML/CFT/CPF strategies.
The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and completing assessments within defined timelines.
The Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Department upholds Singapore’s reputation as a clean and trusted place to do business by strengthening the financial sector’s defences against money laundering, terrorism financing and proliferation financing. The AML Department develops sound regulations, conducts surveillance of dynamic risk developments, executes risk-based supervision in collaboration with MAS’ supervisory departments, and works closely with the public and private sectors to coordinate the broader national effort to combat such illicit finance.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and needs of stakeholders, as well as the agility to respond to changes and developments. As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment. This is a 1-year contract.
