Job description

Job Description:

1. Understand department operating process, lead and direct work for team of employees. Promote good working relationships between department employees.
2. Supervise department employees on the operating processes and inspection of materials, processes, PCBAs, assemblies, finished parts and machined parts to assure good quality parts.
3. Supervise the implementation of standards, methods, procedures for inspection, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of company products.
4. Liase with planner and execute the production schedule according to the delivery timeline
5. Oversee the process and ensure good quality parts from start till the end, including First Article inspection and report.
6. Identify and investigate the quality or operational issues and recommend an effective action plan. Propose good quality practices.
7. Document and review inventory along with production records. Validate stock accuracy in ERP system vs physical stock count.
8. Review rejection rates regularly with management & production to work towards lowering rejection rates. Analyze quality problems & resolve with team
9. Be a member of Watson internal audit team.
