Job description

  • Responsible for sales and provide technical solutions to the operations staff.
  • To liaise with customers on their requests for shipping proposals and quotation.
  • Review all budget proposals recommended and handle proposals for potential customer.
  • Coordinate the work of internal parties such as Sea-freight, Air-freight and Warehouse Departments and to liaise with Japan headquarter on quotation and shipment issues.
  • Responsible for cost control and budgeting to ensure projects meet cost requirements.
  • Conduct and lead project progress meetings with customer, consultants and representative channels to monitor project schedule and quality assurance in order to meet project requirements.
  • Conduct regular visits to the job site to monitor project progression
  • To build and maintain customer relationship and satisfaction.
  • Develop detailed sales and marketing strategies and identify opportunities for business growth.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics/Business or related disciplines.
  • At least 5-10 years working experience in managerial position in logistics and freight forwarding company.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge in Japanese to liaise with customers from Japan and Japan headquarter.
  • Able to read and translate email and report in Japanese language.
  • Willing to travel overseas.
