Job summary

Starlight Dental Pte. Ltd. is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to support dentists with chairside procedures and maintain clinic operations. You will sterilise instruments, manage front-desk duties, and assist with patient registrations and bookings.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work weekends. Prior dental assisting experience is advantageous and a friendly, professional approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Dental assisting experience is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work weekends (5 days including Sat/Sun).

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during clinical and surgical procedures
• Sterilising and preparing instruments and equipment for use in accordance with infection control protocol
• Maintaining clean and organised treatment rooms
• Welcome and assist patients with warmth and professionalism
• Manage patient registration, appointment bookings, follow-ups, and send timely reminders
• Respond promptly to phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and online enquiries
• Handle billing and payments
• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming front desk and waiting area
• Support the smooth running of daily clinic operations and liaise with clinical staff
• Participate in regular stock counts, ensure accurate and clear records, ensure stocks labelled and accessible, monitor expiry dates
• Perform general administrative duties, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of records
• Carry out any additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Management
