Job description

Our client is a Trading MNC company, one of the leading players in the Oil & Gas sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Demurrage Analyst to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Central – easily accessible.

Role Description
  • Oversee demurrage exposure for Gasoline desk trade, analyzing and negotiating payables and receivables.
  • Prepare demurrage computations and submit timely reports to relevant counterparts.
  • Ensure prompt collection of outstanding claims and track incoming funds.
  • Collaborate closely with cargo operators for efficient claims file management and documentation.
  • Generate weekly/monthly demurrage status reports and handle monthly demurrage accruals.
  • Coordinate with the contract desk on purchase and sales contracts, focusing on delivery nomination, Laytime, and demurrage clauses.
  • Verify and endorse freight invoices for approval/payment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in oil & gas industry.
  • Good communication skills and able to work in fast paced environment.
