Job summary

A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is seeking a Demi Chef to prepare and execute high-quality dishes. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in an upscale restaurant, familiar with grilling techniques and kitchen safety standards. This role includes working shifts and collaborating closely with the kitchen team to maintain high service standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of kitchen experience in a refined or upscale restaurant setting.
  • Familiarity with grilling techniques, live-fire cooking and flavour layering.
  • Basic knife skills and understanding of mise en place systems.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute dishes with precision and high presentation standards.
  • Work on or around the open-fire grill for optimal flavour and texture.
  • Assist the Chef de Partie with service and kitchen cleanliness.
  • Uphold hygiene and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members for smooth workflow.
  • Participate in daily prep and post-service duties.
  • Receive and store deliveries properly.

Demi Chef
Working Days: 5 working days ( Off day - 1 Sunday and 1 weekday )
Working Hours: Full day shift based on rostering (11am - 11pm)
Working Location: Tras Street
Salary: Up to $3000


Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute dishes from your assigned section with precision, consistency and high presentation standards.
  • Work directly on or around the open-fire grill, managing heat and timing for optimal flavour and texture.
  • Assist the Chef de Partie in mise en place, service and kitchen cleanliness.
  • Uphold hygiene and safety standards according to SFA and internal SOPs.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen workflow.
  • Participate in daily prep, service and post-service duties with a proactive and professional attitude.
  • Receive and store deliveries properly, maintaining stock rotation and quality checks.

Requirements
