Job Summary

As a Demi Chef/CDP, you will assist the Resident Chef in preparing ingredients, mise en place, and dishes across various kitchen sections. You will also support the team in executing daily operations, special events, and maintaining food standards. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, take initiative, and grow under experienced mentorship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure consistent quality and standards in food preparation

  • Assist in daily mise en place and food production

  • Support with food wastage tracking, stock ordering, and receiving

  • Participate in monthly inventory and stock checks

  • Work with the Kitchen Head to improve operational workflow

  • Uphold grooming and hygiene standards within the team

  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and equipment care

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or senior management

Requirements
  • Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in a semi-fine-dining environment, preferably in Chinese or Peranakan cuisine

  • Willingness to learn, coachable, and adaptable to change

  • Positive attitude and proactive work approach

  • Energetic, cooperative, and maintains high personal hygiene

  • Immediate availability is an advantage

  • Able to work split shifts
