The role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Demand Planning and Regulatory Specialist SEA to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the success of our operations across Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia and India. This dual-role position combines demand planning responsibilities with regulatory compliance tasks, driving operational efficiency while ensuring our products meet local regulatory standards.

As a Demand Planning and Regulatory Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing monthly saleable forecasts and ensuring alignment with financial goals. You will collaborate closely with the DTC, Marketplace, and Wholesale teams to ensure that our forecast reflects the business's needs. Your ability to track and analyze inventory, forecast accuracy, and supply schedules will have a direct impact on our customer service levels and inventory management.

Additionally, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with local regulations by coordinating with the Global Regulatory team, managing product registration processes, and maintaining up-to-date product certifications. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our products are compliant with local regulatory requirements across multiple markets, helping us maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities and partners.

Job responsibilities:

Demand planning:

  1. Prepare and review monthly saleable forecasts with related analysis. The accuracy of the unit forecast has a direct impact on the company’s inventory and customer service levels.
  2. Reconcile forecasted units to Gross Sales financial forecasts to ensure reasonableness.
  3. Top-down revenue plan vs unit roll up alignment.
  4. Clear forecast of revenue and non-revenue generating SKUs.
  5. Collaborate closely with DTC, Marketplace and Wholesale teams to develop and maintain a forward-looking unit forecast that is aligned with business needs and marketing plans such as promotional activities, new product launches and seasonality.
  6. Monthly Inventory review / analysis (run-rate changes, seasonal SKUs, GWP, new product performance, top 50 SKUs performance, OOS and, SLOBs tracking).
  7. Forecast accuracy tracking / reporting (deviation analysis with detailed summary / explanation of deviation).
  8. Supply schedule creation based on business demand plan and lead-time.
  9. Purchase order and supply forecast submission to the US supply chain team.
  10. Prepare strategic and ad hoc analysis for business review meetings.

Regulatory

  1. Coordinate with Global regulatory team and appointed distributors or agents to facilitate the product registration for new products.
  2. Maintenance and timely renewal of product registration certificates to comply with local regulatory requirements.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to address any regulatory gaps and risks raised by local regulatory authorities.
  4. Serve as the primary point of contact with regulatory authorities, ensuring timely and accurate communication.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  1. 3-5 years demand planning / forecasting experience for a fast-moving CPG company.
  2. Experience providing initial forecast plan for new items by distribution channel, with volume projections for the first year of launch.
  3. Ability to work with Commercial teams to develop an accurate item forecast.
  4. Efficiently and effectively work with large amounts of data.
  5. Advanced functional knowledge and practical use of Microsoft Excel.
  6. Regulatory experience.
