Demand Planner

Your Role

The role of a Demand Planner will involve:

• Lead monthly country demand review, collect qualitative inputs from markets and Analyze market trends and historical sales data to accurately forecast future demand for products
• Drive consensus forecast across inter-functional teams eg countries, business, demand and financial
• Ensure updated demand information in our forecast software for each market and continuous improvement to achieve and exceed forecast accuracy targets
• Proactively identify potential changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies and develop mitigation plans to minimize impact
• Deploy and manage replenishment process and provide supply visibility to markets
• Ensure uninterrupted supply of materials to meet sales demand, Inventory replenishment at different locations while achieving inventory and service KPI
• Manage inventory levels across different locations to maintain optimal stock levels, minimizing scrap risk
• Monitor service level performance including Forecast Accuracy, identify improvement opportunities and take appropriate actions
• Maintain a close relationship with the sales, marketing, finance, and country supply chain teams to understand the demand forecasting drivers
• Support Product Lifecycle project for APAC region
• Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Line Manager and management

Your Experience

As a Demand Planner you will have:

• Proven ability in demand forecasting and data analysis, driving informed decision-making and operational efficiency
• Strong background in inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and supply continuity
• Experience in purchase order (PO) creation and procurement processes
• Familiarity with Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to align supply chain and business objectives
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience in cross-functional coordination across teams and departments
• Hands-on experience with SAP systems for enterprise resource planning and data management
• Exposure to regional operations, with an understanding of diverse market dynamics and stakeholder engagement
