Role Overview:

The Demand & Supply Planner is responsible for leading the end-to-end planning process, owning demand forecasts, supply continuity, inventory health, and replenishment. This role ensures that we deliver excellent service levels to our customers while optimizing cost and working capital across our local operations.

1. Demand Planning (Forecasting & S&OP)

  • Develop and manage rolling 18-month demand forecasts at SKU/channel level.

  • Collaborate closely with cross functional peers to understand promotional activity, NPDs, seasonality, and market trends.

  • Lead local S&OP discussions and ensure alignment between demand signals and supply constraints.

  • Analyze historical data and adjust forecasts for accuracy improvements.

2. Supply Planning (Procurement & Inventory)

  • Convert forecasts into effective replenishment plans for imported products.

  • Raise purchase orders and ensure timely delivery from overseas manufacturing sites and third-party principals.

  • Optimize inventory levels to minimize stock-outs and wastage while maximizing service levels.

  • Monitor and adjust safety stock levels, order parameters, and replenishment logic.

3. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the warehouse team, commercial functions, and regional/global supply chain teams.

  • Support NPD launches by ensuring supply readiness and coordination of first shipments.

  • Collaborate with cross function team on inventory provisions and exposure risk.

4. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Own reporting on forecast accuracy, inventory KPIs, service level performance, and supply risk.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to the evolution of planning tools and processes.

What success looks like:

You ensure product availability with minimal disruption, maintain lean but healthy inventory, and build trusted relationships across stakeholders. You will be the go-to person for planning matters and your contributions will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction and business performance.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical & Functional:

  • Min 3 years of experience in Demand and/or Supply Planning, ideally within FMCG or retail distribution.

  • Proficient in Excel, ERP (SAP, NetSuite, or similar), and BI tools.

  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and scenario planning ability.

  • Understanding inventory optimization and demand variability.

Interpersonal & Leadership:

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Comfortable working in a small, agile team with broad responsibilities.

  • Proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

  • Cross-functional collaborator with commercial and supply chain understanding.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.

  • Experience working in regional or global supply chain environments is a plus.
