Job summary

Emerson Asia Pacific Private Limited in Singapore seeks an experienced control systems engineer to lead DeltaV PCS configurations for pharmaceutical projects. You will design, implement, and commission batch processes on customer sites.

Candidates should have electronics/instrumentation degrees and 5–8 years in process control, with strong collaboration across global teams and adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduates in Electronics or Instrumentation.
• 5–8 years of experience in control systems.
• Proficient in DeltaV PCS setup and configuration for pharma.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to projects involving complex control systems.
• Contribute to DeltaV engagements successfully.
• Identify decisions or recommendations from meetings.
• Assist in project scheduling and budgeting.
• Design and implement PCS with focus on batch design and testing on DeltaV systems.
• Handle customer site activities, commissioning and support.
• Ensure compliance to project quality standards.
• Prepare project documentation and records.
• Coordinate with global teams for consistent deliverables.
• Plan, schedule, and control costs; report progress and quality.
• Engage with overseas customers and coordinate with customers and contractors.
• Aim to meet cost and time targets.

Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification: Engineering graduates from Electronics/Instrumentation
• Experience: 5-8 years
• Must Know: DeltaV™ Process Control System (or PCS) Setup and Configuration for Pharmaceutical industry, DeltaV Batch Implementation

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to projects that involve technical subject matter, technical methodologies, or other areas requiring understanding of complex Control systems
• Contributing to the successful completion of specific DeltaV™ engagements
• Ability to identify clear decisions or recommendations that may emerge from meeting discussions
• Helping in project scheduling and budgeting of projects
• Design & implementation of PCS system with focus on BATCH design, Batch Implementation, configuration, testing on EMR DeltaV™ internal system and Customer site system
• Experience in handling customer site and commissioning activities, Support activities
• Ensuring the compliance to the project quality standards
• Preparing project documentation & records
• Interacting/coordinating with cross functional teams of other global office to ensure consistency in project deliverables
• Responsible for project planning, scheduling, cost control, progress reports, quality and reviews for assigned scope
• Responsible to engage with overseas country Customers and doing necessary project coordination with Customers, Engineering Contractors and/or Consultants
• Achieving cost & time targets for assigned scope
