The Job

We are seeking a Project Management Officer to join our team and manage the day-to-day activities of various teams to ensure project governance is tracked and executed efficiently.

The Project Management Officer plays a pivotal support role to assist the Engagement / Program Manager in tracking and follow through project management activities, keeping project billing cycle on track, and collaborating with different departments to ensure all leaders understand where a project is at in the development and maintenance process.

Ultimately, you will work with teams across various departments to streamline and manage processes for our projects’ smooth and timely completion.

Responsibilities

  • Support project billing processes and ensure receivables are on track;
  • Facilitate resourcing needs in raising hiring requests, onboarding and offboarding of project team members;
  • Tracking of timesheet submissions and approvals;
  • Facilitate new and renewals of goods and services procurement requirements;
  • Support and track project team’s learning and skill development journey;
  • Plan, organize and execute teambuilding activities;
  • Calendar management and scheduling of project meetings and activities;
  • Propose new and improved existing project management office policies and processes when necessary;
  • Lead in preparing various reports and presentation decks to Executives;
  • Lead in project monitoring and reporting protocols required by the company;
  • Keep accurate records and documentation;
  • Minutes taking for key monthly meetings;
  • Adhoc tasks which may arise out of project needs.

Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience as a Project Management Officer (PMO) or similar role;
  • Strong facilitation and follow-up skills;
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong attention to details and meticulous;
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills;
  • Good interpersonal skills and possess a positive attitude;
  • Willing to undertake continuous learning and training as a Project Management Officer.
