Overview
FairPrice Group is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Delivery Lead to join the Front Office Solutions team. This role will have the unique opportunity to drive the implementation of innovative and scalable retail technologies. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record in delivering complex transformation initiatives within the retail sector, deep expertise in front office systems, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
1. Key Responsibilities
- Solution Delivery & Execution:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of front office, retail and checkout solutions
- Oversees the full lifecycle of multiple projects from ideation and design to implementation and post-launch
- Ensures on-time, on-budget delivery aligned with quality standards and business objectives
- Drive vendor/partner evaluation, selection, onboarding and ongoing performance across solutions
- Drive the implementation of cutting-edge retail technologies, including payment integrations, customer tracking, and AI-driven capabilities to enhance personalization and engagement
- Support pilot and scale-up initiatives
- Enterprise Integration: Engineer seamless end-to-end integration between front office solutions and enterprise systems (ERP, Data, Promotions, AI) to automate processes and improve efficiency
- Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional team
2. Skills and Competencies
- Deep retail industry acumen: strong understanding of end-to-end retail operations and how various applications support different business functions
- AI awareness & application: Understanding of AI/ML concepts and their potential application across various front office solutions
- Problem-solving: Strong analytical, decision-making and conflict resolution skills
- Program & program management: Expertise in managing complex delivery projects using agile/hybrid frameworks. PMP or Scrum certification is a plus
- Vendor management: Experience managing multiple-vendor ecosystems, offshore teams, and performance SLAs
3. Job Requirements
- Min 10+ years of experience in digital retail, product management, or delivery roles with proven success in rolling out complex in-store technology solutions
- Deep understanding of front office systems including pos, app integrations, esl, ai visions, weighing scales etc
- Strong track record in managing agile delivery and working with cross functional tech and business teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-faced and complex retail environment
- Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent
