Job Description

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Principal Data & AI Solution SME to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data and AI solutions, with proven expertise in sales and delivery activities across Asia. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead complex projects, engage with senior stakeholders, and drive business growth through innovative data and AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Solution Architecture and Implementation:

• Design and implement scalable data and AI solutions for large enterprise clients.
• Lead the development and deployment of data lakes, data warehouses, BI, analytics, ML, and MLOps platforms.
• Ensure solutions meet data governance, security, and compliance standards.

2. Sales and Business Development:
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships with senior and C-level executives.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets.
• Respond to RFPs, shape deals, and conduct due diligence and risk assessments.

3. Project Management and Delivery:
• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, and closure.
• Coordinate with geographically dispersed teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects.
• Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through effective stakeholder management.

4. Client Engagement and Advisory:
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions to align technology solutions with business objectives.
• Influence product roadmaps and drive product adoption through feedback loops.

5. Team Leadership and Development:
• Hire, mentor, and manage a team of data and AI professionals.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Provide guidance and support to team members in their professional development.

Key Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer applications
• Around 25 years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on data and AI solutions.
• Proven track record in solution architecture, sales, and delivery.
• Extensive experience with Azure, AWS, and GCP data platforms and technologies.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams across different geographies.
• Relevant certifications in data and AI technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Data Analytics).
• Experience working with large enterprise clients in various industry verticals.
• Familiarity with Agile processes and project management methodologies.
• Awards and recognitions in technology solutions and mentorship.
