Delivery-Focused ICT Project Manager

Job summary

Starhub Ltd in Singapore seeks a seasoned Project Manager to own planning, delivery, and achievement of complex ICT project objectives. You will define the project management plan, manage progress, resources and costs, and drive stakeholder collaboration to minimize risk.

You will collaborate with business and product managers, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality outcomes on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Accredited University Degree in Project Management, IT or related disciplines. Relevant experience without the required educational portfolio will also be considered
• Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience, preferably in ICT projects across Government, Education, Health, FSI, Hospitality/MICE or Commercials
• Experience in working in large matrix organization or MNC
• Knowledge of PMO or understand (and be able to apply) project management governance and process
• Ability to demonstrate experience in managing diverse groups of stakeholders & clients
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, negotiation and communication skills including ability to influence and communicate to all levels of stakeholders
• Able to multi-task and is result-oriented in a fast-paced environment
• Logical and analytic approach in handling situations, problems or issues

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the start-to-finish delivery of complex, high-value or strategic projects with high quality, within budget and according to agreed schedule and users’ requirements
• Front clients, provide status updates & ensure customer satisfaction is achieved
• Manage relationships and align with diverse teams of internal/external stakeholders
• Actively plan, manage and report project scope, schedules, cost and resources
• Monitor resource utilization to facilitate planning and scheduling of resources
• Identify, assess and manage the risks/issues of the project, and take appropriate prevention action or resolution
• Manage escalations and project scope creep or mitigates it when it occurs, or changes in users’ requirements according to Change
• Control processes, schedule slippage, technical problems and shortages of resources
• Work closely with business/product managers and support teams to ensure end objectives are met
• Willingness to take on additional functions, such as, involve in project (PMO) governance and process, mentor junior or new team members, participate in presales activities, corporate initiatives, etc.
