I-SIMPLY PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Class 3 Delivery Driver & Furniture Installer to join our logistics team. This role goes beyond driving, including on-site assembly of bulky office furniture and coordination with commercial clients. On-the-job training is provided.

You will plan daily routes, conduct safety checks, interact professionally with clients, and ensure loads are secure while maintaining the vehicle and preparing for the next day.

Qualifications

Job Title: Class 3 Delivery Driver & Furniture Installer

Employment Type: Full Time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM), Saturday (9:00 AM to 1:00 PM)

Seniority: Non-Executive

Salary Range: $2,600 to $3,000 (Monthly)

About the Role:We are a growing office furniture provider looking for an independent, safety-first Class 3 Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. This is a physically demanding and hands-on role that goes beyond just driving. You will handle bulky office furniture, coordinate with commercial clients, and learn to assemble furniture on-site. We value efficiency and initiative: drivers are permitted to end their day early once all deliveries and installations are completed, provided the vehicle and routing are fully prepped for the next working day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery & Assembly: Safely drive a Class 3 commercial truck to transport heavy office furniture to commercial and residential locations across Singapore, and perform on-site furniture assembly (full on-the-job training provided).

• Daily Planning & Initiative: Take ownership of daily route planning. End-of-day duties strictly include prepping the truck and finalising the route for the next working day before clocking out.

• Strict Vehicle Safety: Conduct thorough daily vehicle checks. Strictly enforce safety protocols at all loading bays and delivery sites, including the mandatory engagement of handbrakes and wheel chocks.

• Customer Service: Maintain a professional and polite demeanour when communicating with clients and building management during drop-offs and installations.

• Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the vehicle clean, monitor fuel consumption efficiently (no excessive engine idling), and report any mechanical issues promptly.

Requirements:

• License: Must possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License with a clean driving record.

• Hands-On Mentality: Willingness to undergo on-the-job training for furniture assembly and confidently use basic hand and power tools.

• Physical Stamina: Physically fit and comfortable with the heavy lifting and handling of bulky goods on a daily basis.

• Mindset & Attitude: Proactive, independent, and highly responsible. You do not wait to be told what to do; you plan ahead to ensure smooth operations.

• Safety-First: Zero compromise on vehicle safety, securing loads, and parking protocols.

• Experience: Prior experience in heavy goods delivery, furniture logistics, or moving services is a strong advantage.
