Job description

This position is part of the company's Warehousing department. During the 6-month on-the-job training (OJT) attachment, you will shadow experienced delivery drivers, observe and participate in the whole process of logistics operations, from learning how to pick up and load heavy cargo at the warehouse to delivering to designated locations in a timely manner and learning how to provide photo updates of the deliveries in our delivery tracking system.

Job duties:

1. Pick up and deliver goods from designated locations in a timely and efficient manner.

2. Plan routes effectively and efficiently.

3. Secure loading and unloading of vehicles with heavy cargo.

4. Manage delivery of bulky and superbulky cargo in a safe and efficient manner.

5. Drive assigned vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

6. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude while interacting with customers and other drivers on the road.

7. Maintain cleanliness and ensure maintenance of the assigned company vehicle.

8. Provide accurate and timely updates and evidence of successful deliveries.

9. Work closely with other departments like warehouse workers, warehouse manager and customer service officers.
