Delivery Assistant (DSS-2025-04-03)

Job Purpose

• Assisting driver during delivery to customers, ensuring all products delivered are in good condition before handing them to customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure all daily delivery orders (DOs) entrusted are delivered to customers according to the schedule given. Any delay in fulfillment must be communicated back to the Traffic Controller.
• Ensure all delivery orders (DOs) are properly endorsed with a clean POD (Proof Of Delivery).
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security in the work environment.
• Display teamwork within the team to ensure productivity targets / KPIs are met.
• Ensure daily delivery is accident-free with no damages.
• Assess the load and prepare trucks for loading, ensuring proper stacking and lashing to prevent falling or getting loose during the delivery trip.
• Take charge of the assigned delivery and assist the driver at all times.
• Assist the Traffic Controller in the investigation and completion of CAPA reports.
• Assist the driver in carrying out regular cleaning and basic maintenance for the assigned vehicle.
• Carry out delivery activities as per SOPs, flow processes, and WIs, and provide feedback to the Traffic Controller.
• Perform other job tasks as assigned by the superior.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of similar work experience.
• Experience in cargo / truck loading and lashing.
• Ability to work harmoniously with others in the team.
• Ability to plan and load with an “eye for details.”
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
• Logistics and delivery experience.

Working Conditions

5.5 Working days per week
