A reputable consulting firm located in Singapore is looking for a supervisor to manage and guide cleaning staff. The role involves ensuring that cleaning operations are carried out safely and effectively, conducting inspections, and handling customer feedback. Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership skills and previous experience in managing cleaning operations. Availability on weekends and public holidays is required.
• Supervises and guides the cleaners assigned to an area.
• Follows up with work instructions given by the Executive related to the cleanliness of an area.
• Ensures all cleaning is safely, properly, and systematically carried out to meet the cleaning requirements.
• Supervises daily and monthly planned periodic works allocated to an area.
• Reports in a timely manner all defects, cleaners’ attendance, and completion of all duties assigned.
• Troubleshoots maintenance service failures; handles repair and maintenance work, e.g., air-conditioning, lighting, electrical, and plumbing services.
• Conducts regular inspections of the building and its facilities to maintain high service delivery levels.
• Plans work schedules and deploys manpower effectively.
• Supervises, coordinates, and manages work activities of cleaning staff in commercial and industrial establishments.
• Assigns duties, inspects work performed according to the "Daily Inspection Checklist" to ensure conformance to standards.
• Trains new and existing employees and recommends disciplinary actions where applicable.
• Handles all customer feedback professionally.
• Ensures good safety practices are followed during work.
• Provides a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness within the assigned area.
• Manages work execution and performance of junior staff.
• Provides adequate training and coaching to staff to meet contractual standards.
• Conducts daily inspections to monitor and evaluate staff performance and takes immediate corrective measures for below-standard performance.
• Implements and recommends operational plans to improve work processes and service quality.
• Must be available to work on weekends and public holidays.
