Job summary

MINDEF in Singapore is seeking a Defence Relations (DR) professional responsible for planning and executing multilateral and bilateral DR events, coordinating with the Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS) and other Services.

You will engage foreign partners, manage logistics, liaise with stakeholders, adapt to changing circumstances, and work with multiple teams to deliver DR programmes.

Qualifications

• Education in Social Sciences, Political Science, International Relations, Economics, Sociology, Geography, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in international relations and/or knowledge of a foreign language is advantageous.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively (Applicants with no experience may apply).

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute multilateral and bilateral DR events.
• Execute DR engagement activities, including visits by foreign partners and courtesy calls.
• Coordinate logistics and administrative matters for DR programmes.
• Liaise with stakeholders to align on objectives and requirements for DR programmes.
• Adapt swiftly to changing circumstances to ensure successful DR events.
• Interact with multiple stakeholders in planning and execution of DR activities.
