A leading technology solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a team leader for Application Engineers. Responsibilities include leading debugging activities for server and rack products, troubleshooting failures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates should have a diploma in Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in relevant manufacturing environments, alongside strong analytical and communication skills. The position requires willingness to work 12-hour shifts, either day or night.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Application Engineers (AE) and Technicians in debugging activities for Server and Rack products that fail during production testing.
Perform testing, analysis, and troubleshooting on failed products, and collaborate with customers, HQ, and factory teams for corrective actions and improvements.
Identify root causes of failures and isolate defective components or failure modes.
Work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and production teams on improvement and corrective action initiatives.
Participate in continuous improvement (Kaizen) activities to enhance product reliability and process efficiency.
Prepare, revise, and maintain Work Instructions (WI) as required.
Provide training to technicians on Work Instructions and troubleshooting procedures.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and assist during mass production ramp-up.
Participate in ISO implementation and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with quality management systems.
Requirements:
Willing to work 12 hours shift, permanent shift (Day: 7am - 7pm or Night: 7pm - 7am)
Diploma or higher in an Engineering discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in server, rack, or electronics manufacturing environments.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in diagnosing hardware failures.
Experience working with cross-functional teams including customers, R&D, and system/test engineers.
Knowledge of Linux is preferred.
Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
