Job Description-
- To execute fixed income investment transactions in strict compliance with the Bank’s Investment Policy.
- To stay well-informed and remain vigilant regarding the current regulatory environment. Continuously monitor and analyze news updates related to invested securities/universe and pertinent macroeconomic factors.
- To conduct thorough research on new bond offerings to identify potential investment opportunities, following the directives of the Head of Investment.
- To prepare comprehensive proposals for both investment and divestment activities.
- To prepare proposals for instances of price breaches, financial decline, and rating downgrades in accordance with the investment policies and manual.
- To provide regular feedback to the senior management, and the Investment Committee. Share insights on strategies, market information, and investment performance.
- To perform market scans to pinpoint the most favorable pricing options in secondary markets. Base these assessments on competitive quotes from counterparties.
- To contribute valuable insights and recommendations during the review of the Banks’s Investment Policy by the Bank Investment Committee (BIC).
- To offer input for the formulation of an investment strategy document to guide asset allocation within the investment portfolio.
- To attend roadshows and actively engage with company (issuer) management. Gather first-hand information about the prospects and potential investment opportunities associated with these companies.
- To maintain meticulous organization of files and records encompassing all investment-related documents and correspondence.
- To assist in regularly providing rate quotes to branches.
- To engage in proprietary trading activities as required.
- To meet with and provide updates to Relationship Managers (RMs), branches, and customers regarding market conditions and forex products.
- To prepare the profit sheet for the dealing room from the previous day's activities.
- To calculate the open currency position from ERS (Exchange Rate System), considering transactions that occurred overnight after the dealing room closed. Formulate a view on exchange rates for our core currencies and assess funding requirements.
Job Requirement:
- Graduation or equivalent, preference will be given to those who have done courses related to Treasury Forex and related areas.
- Minimum Banking experience of continuous 08 years, out of which 3 years should be in Forex and treasury operations.
- Candidates having latest experience in Dealing Operations (Front Office) will be given preference
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance
- Sound Knowledge of banking/ financial products in field of Treasury and Investment
- Dynamic personality who is ready to work as a team and provide guidance to others.
- Good trading and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and inter personal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff and top management
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft applications : Excel/Word/PowerPoint
