Job summary

PwC Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead large-scale Digital, Cloud, Data, and Core Banking Transformation programs for financial institutions. You will shape strategy, drive modernization, and enable cloud adoption across APAC.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, govern programs, manage budgets, and report to senior executives. Strong communication in English and Japanese is a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in digital, cloud, data, technology, or business transformation within Financial Services.
• Proven experience leading large-scale transformation programs, including core banking, cloud, data, or operating model initiatives.
• Strong track record of managing complex projects and senior stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams.
• Experience in program governance, change management, and cross-functional team leadership.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead large-scale Digital, Cloud, Data, and Core Banking Transformation initiatives across the financial services sector. The role will drive business and technology transformation programs, enabling modern banking capabilities, operational efficiency, cloud adoption, data-driven decision making, and enterprise-wide process optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead large-scale Digital, Cloud, Data, and Core Banking Transformation programs across financial institutions.
• Define and execute digital transformation strategies aligned with business, technology, and regulatory objectives.
• Drive cloud adoption, application modernization, and target-state technology architecture design.
• Lead core banking modernization initiatives, including platform upgrades, migrations, and regional rollouts.
• Manage end-to-end transformation lifecycles from strategy and business case development through implementation and post-go-live stabilization.
• Establish program governance, PMO structures, risk management frameworks, and executive reporting processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across technology, operations, finance, risk, compliance, and business units.
• Lead APAC and global cross-border transformation initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and markets.
• Develop data transformation strategies, including data governance, analytics, reporting, and management information capabilities.
• Drive business process reengineering (BPR) and operating model transformation to improve efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.
• Design and implement Shared Services Center (SSC) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) operating models.
• Lead requirements gathering, solution evaluation, vendor selection, and implementation of enterprise technology solutions.
• Build strong relationships with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making and transformation outcomes.
• Drive organizational change management, stakeholder communications, and user adoption across transformation programs.
• Monitor program budgets, timelines, risks, and benefits realization to ensure successful delivery.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
• Support business development activities, including proposal development, client presentations, and transformation roadmap design.
• Identify emerging digital, cloud, AI, and data trends and advise stakeholders on strategic technology investments and innovation opportunities.
• Ensure alignment of technology initiatives with enterprise architecture, operational resilience, and regulatory requirements within the financial services industry.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients and senior leadership on business, technology, and operating model transformation initiatives.

About You

• 10+ years of experience in digital, cloud, data, technology, or business transformation within Financial Services.
• Proven experience leading large-scale transformation programs, including core banking, cloud, data, or operating model initiatives.
• Strong track record of managing complex projects and senior stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams.
• Experience in program governance, change management, and cross-functional team leadership.
• Exposure to APAC and/or multi-country transformation programs is preferred.
• Experience in consulting, banking, financial institutions, or system integration environments.
• Strong understanding of financial services processes, regulations, and technology ecosystems.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Japanese and English to support collaboration with Japanese-speaking stakeholders, clients, or project teams where business needs require it.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree and relevant certifications are an advantage.
