Job summary

COMBUILDER PTE LTD is seeking a capable software engineer to perform end-to-end troubleshooting, bug fixing, and app configuration management. The role involves collaborating with development, QA, and support teams to ensure seamless software operation.

The candidate should have 2–5 years of experience, strong communication skills, and be prepared for 24/7 standby and potential shift work. Proficiency with Node.js, React, Kafka, and container ecosystems is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant professional working experience.
• Experience in software development and bug fixing.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
• Familiarity with configuration management and performance monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Troubleshooting to diagnose and fix software config, performance, and integration issues.
• Bug fixing by identifying, analyzing, and resolving coding bugs.
• App Configuration Management to review and update configurations for performance.
• Integration Support to resolve issues with other systems and platforms.
• Provide technical support to customers and address concerns effectively.
• Documentation of issues, solutions, and best practices.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and support teams for seamless operation.
• Deployment tasks including file transfer, pushing container images, and orchestration for rollouts.
• Identify and design PoCs for technical debts and enhancements.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Troubleshooting: Perform comprehensive troubleshooting to diagnose and fix issues related to software configuration, performance, and integration.
• Bug Fixing: Identify, analyze, and resolve coding bugs in a timely manner.
• App Configuration Management: Review and update app configurations to ensure optimal performance and compatibility.
• Integration Support: Assist in resolving integration issues with other systems and platforms.
• Customer Support: Provide technical support to customers and address their concerns effectively.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of issues, solutions, and best practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and support teams to ensure seamless software operation.
• Deployment: Perform File Transfer, Push Container Images and Container orchestration for rolling out Bug Fixes and Enhancements.
• Technical Debts: Identitfy, analyze, design and perform Proof of Concept (PoC) for Technical Debts and Enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant professional working experience.
• Proven experience in software development and bug fixing.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
• Familiarity with software configuration management and performance monitoring tools.
• Experience with Node.js, React, Kafka, Keycloak, MQTT, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Podman, MongoDB, and IBM MQ.
• Available for 24/7 standby.
• Ready to work OT and in shift roles if needed.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
