Job summary

Global Bank in Singapore is seeking an Enterprise Architect to lead a Databricks platform migration from a legacy MDM system. This is a hands-on platform engineering and architectural role shaping end-to-end design across governance, security, and business stakeholders.

You will own the target-state architecture (Lakehouse, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake), define the migration strategy and roadmap, and mentor delivery teams to ensure compliant, scalable cloud data platforms for a regulated financial

Qualifications

15+ years in enterprise/solution architecture.
Hands-on experience architecting Databricks platforms at scale.
Experience migrating legacy MDM or data warehouse to cloud data platforms.
Experience in regulated financial services environments.
Strong governance, security, and regulatory compliance knowledge.
Excellent stakeholder communication with engineers, architects, and leadership.

Responsibilities

Design and own the target-state Databricks architecture (Lakehouse, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake).
Define the migration strategy and roadmap, including phasing, data lineage, parallel-run, and cutover.
Establish governance, security, and data quality frameworks adhering to regulatory requirements.
Act as architectural bridge between engineering, enterprise architecture, risk/compliance, and business stakeholders.
Define standards for scalability, cost governance, and multi-region resilience.
