Job Title: Databricks Administrator
Location: Singapore (Onsite)
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in Databricks platform management
Preference: From Singapore only

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Databricks Administrator to oversee and optimize Databricks environments hosted on AWS. This position includes responsibilities such as cluster setup, managing user permissions, fine-tuning performance, and supporting data teams. Ideal candidates will have experience with Spark-based tools and automating administrative tasks.

Key Duties:

Set up, manage, and maintain Databricks clusters on AWS infrastructure
Control user permissions, workspace access, and security configurations
Analyze and resolve cluster or job-related performance bottlenecks
Automate administrative workflows including provisioning, scaling, and system backups
Establish and enforce policies for backup, restore, and high availability
Assist engineering and analytics teams with troubleshooting and platform support

Required Qualifications:

At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Databricks administration in AWS setups
In-depth knowledge of Apache Spark, Databricks, and core AWS services like S3, EC2, and IAM
Competency in scripting with Python or Scala for platform automation
Understanding of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and full cluster lifecycle processes
Certification in Databricks or AWS is an advantage
Excellent diagnostic, communication, and client interaction skills
