Job summary

ALTROCKS TECH PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned MySQL and MSSQL Database Administrator to ensure robust data platforms in Singapore.

You will optimize queries, implement backups and high availability, and manage Azure SQL environments (both cloud and on-premises), collaborating with engineering and operations teams.

Candidates should bring 5+ years of experience and be adept at root-cause analysis and long-term solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as MySQL and MSSQL Database Administrator.
• SQL scripting and stored procedures expertise.
• Proven performance tuning, query optimization, and index management.
• Experience with Azure SQL Instances preferred.
• Manage and troubleshoot Azure SQL databases (Managed and Unmanaged).
• Administer SQL Server on Azure and on-premises.
• Implement security, backups, DR, and high availability.
• Conduct root cause analysis and long-term fixes.
• Solid backup and DR/high availability knowledge.

• 5+ years of experience as a MySQL and MSSQL Database Administrator
• Solid understanding of SQL scripting and stored procedures
• Strong experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and index management
• Experience using Azure SQL Instances preferred
• Manage and troubleshoot issues in both Managed and Unmanaged Azure SQL databases
• Experience in administering SQL Server in both Microsoft Azure and on-premises environments
• Implement database security, backups, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies
• Conduct root cause analysis and provide long-term solutions for database issues
• Solid understanding of backup strategies, disaster recovery, and high availability
